I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.
I received a VI Peel at N2 Aesthetics Skin Lab and unfortunately had a significant adverse reaction afterward leading to dark scars I know am trying to heal from. After consulting with my dermatologist and multiple reputable med spas, I was told that my reaction was consistent with a peel being over-applied or performed incorrectly. I’m now spending additional time and money addressing the damage.
What concerned me just as much as the outcome was how the situation was handled afterward. When I reached out to address the issue, I felt dismissed rather than supported. I requested a refund instead of escalating the matter publicly, but the communication I received in response felt unprofessional and accusatory, which was upsetting as a paying client trying to resolve a legitimate concern.
I also want to mention that during my appointment, there was an additional person present in the room who was not introduced and did not participate in the service. After later speaking with other med spas, I learned that it’s standard for only one practitioner to be present for a VI Peel unless otherwise disclosed. This made me uncomfortable and is something I wish had been communicated beforehand.
Overall, between the physical reaction, the lack of accountability, and how my concerns were handled, this was not a positive or professional experience. I personally would not return and would advise others to proceed with caution and ask detailed questions before booking.
