Corrective Aesthetics: When Less (and Sometimes Removal) Is More
Not every aesthetic journey is about adding. In some cases, the most impactful results come from strategic correction.
One of the most common areas we address at N2 is previously placed under-eye filler, which over time can begin to cause swelling, visible lumps, or a bluish hue (Tyndall effect) rather than improvement.
In this case, the filler had been placed within the muscle beneath the eye. With daily movement like blinking, the product gradually migrated and clumped, creating a noticeable bulge that left the patient looking worse than before treatment.
Using ultrasound guidance, we precisely identified the misplaced filler and dissolved only what was no longer serving the patient. Because this approach is so targeted, very little enzyme was required—and the entire correction was completed in a single visit with unparalleled accuracy.
At N2, every provider is extensively trained in ultrasound-guided injection and dissolution techniques, ensuring corrective work is approached with the same level of care, precision, and restraint as any aesthetic treatment.

January always feels a little quieter in the best way. After the pace of the holidays, it’s a chance to reset, reflect, and reconnect with why we do what we do.
This month also marks 4 years of N2 Aesthetics, which is something I don’t take lightly. In an industry that’s both highly saturated and constantly evolving, many practices don’t make it past the first few years. We’ve not only stayed the course—we’ve continued to grow, refine, and raise our standards.

A 2025 review in eClinicalMedicine highlights potential benefits related to insulin regulation, cardiometabolic health, and inflammation—especially when GLP-1 therapy is used as part of a medically guided, long-term plan.
